Social Studies Immersion |
| The NTSD Social Studies Immersion Program is the cornerstone of the curriculum. The program integrates the Social Studies content into the core curriculum areas as it provides students with experiences in philanthropy and service learning. Through practical application of their studies, NTSD students are prepared to interact and thrive in an increasingly diverse world. |

| The Nataki Talibah Schoolhouse of Detroit concept, Builders of Society, helps students to identify the varying roles we play in society. Since each classroom is a society unto itself, the interchanging of these roles is a significant part of the school's philosophical, social, and academic training. |
