Nataki Talibah Schoolhouse of Detroit (NTSD) provides a Social Studies Immersion Program for children in kindergarten through eighth grade. The educational philosophy of NTSD is founded upon the Psychology of the Norm, an approach that fosters a healthy worldview beginning with an examination and appreciation of self, family, community and extending . . . . outward.

A well-developed self-concept becomes a springboard for multicultural and multilingual exploration and understanding. The Psychology of the Norm promotes curiosity and investigation, as well as purpose and responsibility.

A public school academy, Nataki Talibah Schoolhouse of Detroit offers diverse educational programming through instructional and interdisciplinary learning experiences in an environment where cultural and individual identity are acknowledged and viewed as the norm.
